Der gelieferte Kaffee war 24 Jahre alt!!!! Er wurde 2001 produziert Eine zweite Tüte der Lieferung war von 2008. Gerade bei aromatisierten Kaffeebohnen hat diese unglaublich lange Lagerzeit Einfluss auf den Geschmack, auch wenn der gelieferte Kaffee „noch“ ein Jahr haltbar ist. Auf meine freundliche Nachfrage und den Wunsch, den Kaffee umzutauschen, wurde nicht reagiert. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht, deswegen null Sterne.

The numbers printed on the coffee bag that appear to look like “2001” or “2008” are not production years. They are internal batch codes used by the manufacturer (Zavida Coffee Roasters) and do not represent the roasting or production date. Zavida does not print production dates on the front of the label.
The actual freshness indicator is the BB (Best Before) date, which is clearly printed on every bag. All Zavida products we ship are always within their guaranteed freshness period, and your package was no exception.
To clarify:
• 27 OC 08 means the product is best before 8 October 2027.
• On the second bag, the date indicates 1 October 2026.
We completely understand how the batch codes can be confusing, especially since they resemble year formats. We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding and hope this explanation helps.
